At its time, the BMW i8 Challenge was an electrifying voyage into the future of mobility, spotlighting the BMW i8 not just as a car, but as a revolution on wheels. But for a car so new and unattainable for most, our challenge was clear: transform awe into understanding, and curiosity into knowledge. So, for the i8's local launch, we invited car enthusiasts to delve into the essence of what makes the BMW i8 a masterpiece of innovation through a digital challenge set as a quiz that was as engaging as it was enlightening. This wasn't merely a quiz; it was a journey through the soul of the i8, where participants were encourages to learn of every cog, curve, and concept that defined its existence. And with that knowledge, they would gain the ultimate reward – an all expenses paid trip to Germany BMW headquarters to experience the BMW i8 in all its glory.
My role was multifaceted, intertwining creative direction with the art of storytelling. Through conceptualizing the campaign, I aimed to craft an experience that resonated on a visceral level. The incorporation of 3D modeling was a game-changer, breaking down the complexities of the i8 into visuals that spoke louder than words. Every piece of content, from UX writing to website copy, was meticulously designed to draw participants deeper into the world of the i8, encouraging them to explore, learn, and ultimately, aspire.
The BMW i8 Challenge was more than a campaign; it was an educational odyssey that celebrated innovation, sustainability, and the sheer joy of discovery. As one of the architects behind this digital experience, I aimed to not only share knowledge but to ignite a spark of passion for what lies on the horizon of automotive excellence.
